Dear grieving pet owner,

When you have lost a beloved pet and your heart is broken, you might feel a great need to connect with and ask your pet one or more of these questions:

Are you okay in the afterlife?
Can you forgive me?
Is there anything I can do for you now?

What are some of the questions you have now that your beloved animal companion is gone?

As you are grieving your loss, I offer you my deepest sympathy, for I know from personal experience how deep the pain is after losing your soul’s companion, for to you and me, pets are not just ‘pets’, they are family. Often, our pet is the one who stands by us and understands us better than anyone else. One we can always rely on through the ups and downs of life.

I have had animals that were close to my heart that I lost. I lost one companion to a sudden tragic death, another I had to have euthanized at home with the help of a vet, and there was the devastating loss of a soul mate – my beloved cat Kia – who died all alone in a animal hospital which left me tormented by guilt and grief, and more recently, my husband and I went through a long goodbye with our cats Minnie and Freedom.

There will always be a hole after their loss, and grief will come up at times, but I have found a way to bridge that gap – that horrible feeling of separation where you’re left without your animal friend by your side.

It was when Kia died and I suffered from guilt, regretting leaving her at the hospital with strangers, that I felt the need to connect with her and hear how she was doing, and if she could forgive me. Hoping to have a chance to say a proper goodbye and another ‘I love you so much’ to her.

Out of my need for connecting with my angel animals, I developed a special technique for connecting with her in the afterlife. Can you imagine the feeling of grace and peace I felt when I first connected with her and she communicated her love and forgiveness to me? Can you imagine my feeling of gratitude when she offered her wise and compassionate advice for coping with her loss and healing my broken heart?

That connection I made with her changed everything for me and for my husband. It allowed us to heal and to move forward, knowing that Kia is okay and that in spirit she is with us.

I still miss her deeply, but whenever I go into my heart I know she’s there, and I can connect with her and experience her wisdom, love and grace once more.

I have used my ability to connect with animals in the afterlife and helped many people who are grieving the loss of their animal friends, and many have found the comfort and peace in being reconnected with their beloved animal that has passed. They have received messages of light, love and joy, and spiritual wisdom directly from the source of unconditional love which their animal companion is.

Who better to teach you about unconditional love, joy and of living in the present moment than your own pet? Who better to bring peace and healing to your grieving heart than your beloved companion?

How I connect with your pet in the afterlife

The technique I use to connect with pets in the afterlife is called a Sacred Spirit Journey. A Sacred Spirit Journey is a form of shamanic journey, which is an ancient practice where you shift your focus so you become aware of the alternate realities that exist alongside your ordinary reality. It is a technique that you can use to connect with numerous compassionate helping spirits for healing, inspiration, and guidance. In fact, a close connection with a compassionate spirit guide is an essential part of a shamanic journey.

While I also use other methods, I especially use Sacred Spirit Journeys to connect with pets in the afterlife. Journeying is also useful to guide dying and deceased pets into the afterlife, and bring them whichever healing they may need.

It brings such great comfort to people to know that death is not the end and that their animal companion is there with them in spirit – their animal friend is not lost to them.
